De Gubernatis – Claire held a career world ranking of 197 (singles), has won 5 ITF singles events and 7 ITF doubles events during her playing career. She is also qualified as an LTA Level 4 Senior Performance Coach. She has worked as a private coach, club coach and finally establishing the DeGubernatis Academy of Tennis.
Claire still ensures that she competes regularly and her players can see her methods and teaching techniques in practice.
Claire’s knowledge and experience of the game, especially the female tour, establish a fantastic, natural link for any of the players with the academy.
As a coach, she gets to see all her players compete regularly and by spending time with them, both on and off the court, where she can build strong, professional relationships with them all.

Having gained experience in the world of tennis at a competitive level through to coaching, she has obtained a wealth of experience which enables her to guide her players in their journey into professional tennis, developing the correct attitude, preventing injury, and preparing them for the professional circuit or simply finding a hobby they enjoy and which keeps them fit.
